Palantir has made open and obvious what they intend to do and what software they provide, and it’s up to the procurement team to make the decision – not a private organization paid directly by George Soros.

To begin, I sincerely hope that your battle with cancer has led to a state of remission. Foxglove has yet to provide any substantiated evidence of Palantir engaging in data mining. Instead, they have expended a significant amount of taxpayers’ funds to contest a baseless lawsuit. Ultimately, it is the individuals who are unwell that bear the brunt of their obstruction.

Paper, Excel, outdated systems wasting hours of valuable time for healthcare professionals. Finally, a glimmer of hope emerges, but there’s a small minority fighting against progress. As a cancer patient who knows the struggles of the healthcare system, I demand to know, who are Foxglove? And who gave them the right to block something that could improve my access to vital services? It’s time for a tech (yet safe) revolution in healthcare, and nothing should stand in the way of that!

The waiting list did reduce by 28% but this was because the hospital contacted all the patients on the list. It was nothing to do with Palantir. Secondly, this was only the list waiting for surgery which is a tiny fraction of the total waiting list. They are liars.

Transparency – in use of public funds
Accountability – in the NHS having control over both systems and data
Confidence – in that patients are assured that their data will not be abused
Assurance – in that the software will be fully tested by end-users prior to implementation
Functionality – in that the system does what its users need it to do
Support – in that the system will be repaired, maintained and updated in a timely manner

For example, Palantir are offering the same solution as what sits inside the FDP procuremnet directly to trusts for free and fully funded by NHSE, with no open procurement. How did that one get approved and by who? There are many well respected suppliers out in the market who ask these same questions, but are totally ignored by NHSE. This whole link between NHSE & Palantir and what has secretly been agreed in private needs a full public inquiry before its too late.
